Alpend is a decentralized lending and borrowing protocol built on the Canton Network. It enables participants to supply assets and earn yield, or borrow against collateral — with positions that are confidential by default and settlement that is deterministic on-chain.
Alpend is designed for institutional participants — funds, desks, and protocol participants operating on Canton — who require privacy, auditability, and predictable execution. The Canton ecosystem represents $345B in asset value across 400+ participants. Alpend is built to operate at that scale.
