Conflux is a state-of-the-art public blockchain system that can achieve high transactions per second (TPS) without having to sacrifice for decentralization or security. This is made possible by Conflux’s novel algorithm which utilizes a Tree-Graph structure, thereby improving performance and eliminating the bottleneck that is faced by public blockchains like Ethereum and Bitcoin. In order for mass adoption of blockchain technology to take place, public blockchains must be able to handle thousands of transactions per second. In its first stage, Conflux has adopted a Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism for its consensus mechanism and is already able to handle upwards of 3000+ TPS.
