Money Tree Integrates Chainlink VRF To Help Power Its Statistically Fair Games and Prizes
We’re excited to announce that Money Tree — the fair and fun blockchain gaming token — has integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on the Binance Smart Chain mainnet. By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, we now have access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness needed to reward players and produce game results in a verifiably fair and random fashion. Ultimately this creates a more exciting, transparent, and fraud-proof user experience, as users can rest assured that the games they’re playing are verifiably fair and cannot be tampered with.
Money Tree is a fully on-chain deflationary and decentralized gaming token. The $MONEY token passively rewards investors with dividends and royalties from sales of the 1 million unique NFTs that are randomly generated on launch. The Money Tree token also automatically enters all investors into a lucky draw built directly into the token, which pays out in USDC and costs nothing to play. The $MONEY token is used as an underlying currency to play minigames and purchase NFTs on the Money Tree website. All minigames are hosted entirely on-chain with guaranteed fairness supported by the utilization of Chainlink VRF. 100% of all prize rewards are kept by players and there is no “house edge” in our statistically fair games.
In order to produce verifiably fair results for our minigames & loot boxes, we need access to a secure random number generator (RNG) that any user could independently audit. However, RNG solutions for smart contracts require several security considerations to prevent manipulation and ensure system integrity. For instance, RNG solutions derived from blockchain data like block hashes can be exploited by miners/validators, while off-chain RNG solutions derived from off-chain APIs are opaque and don’t provide users with definitive proof about the integrity of the process.
