Morphswap is one of the industry’s first cross-chain Uniswap-style AMMs. While being fully decentralized, and governed entirely by the holders of Morphswap’s governance token, Morphswap offers a seamless cross-chain transaction experience that improves upon current cross-chain technology in three key categories: speed, price, and extensibility.
The industry’s concern about the dangers of centralized bridges is at an all-time high — there has always been a desire to eliminate the centralized intermediaries between chains, but it has never been stronger than now, with a continuous news cycle of centralized bridge hacks. Because of the technological advancements achieved by Morphswap, the industry finally has the option to conduct cross-chain commerce, seamlessly, without needing to depend on centralized intermediaries.
The architecture of the Morphswap protocol offers users several key advantages over its centralized counterparts. When compared to centralized platforms, Morphswap is extremely fast, with sub-minute time-to-finality. Additionally, these swaps are relatively inexpensive, with a low fixed fee that goes to the oracles and swapminers. The protocol is also fully extensible, meaning anyone can pair any token with any other token on any chain.
