Planet IX is an online game based on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) built on the Polygon network. The multiplayer strategy game takes place on the titular planet. Planet IX is a metaverse; by connecting real-world geolocations to user generated virtual environments, Planet IX works as a bridge between the digital and the physical world. These environments can be claimed, bought, sold, and will eventually be customizable. Players trade their Planet IX land (PIX) to create Territory NFTs in an effort to rejuvenate the land, and restore life on the planet.
