SmartAPICloud was founded in 2021 to provide reliable CPI data to the financial industry for German speaking countries via one standardised API. The rapid evolution of blockchain technology and the growing capabilities of smart contracts have given rise to the need for more data types to power increasingly advanced smart contracts. This data is mandatory for mass adoption of DeFi, hence SmartAPICloud decided to support blockchain platforms with CPI data through Chainlink oracles.
