CryptoPool is one of the first flagship dApps within the Transient ecosystem and provides users a decentralized price prediction market. Within the dApp, users can make predictions regarding the future price movements of crypto-assets and be rewarded if they are correct. However, due to the blockchain oracle problem, smart contract applications like CryptoPool are unable to access real-world data, which includes accurate pricing data. Therefore, an additional piece of infrastructure known as an “oracle” is required to bridge this market data on-chain.
